That's the main window of the global administration module. That's the eart of the X-Itools, even if each module contains its own administration capabilities.

Domains and users are managed in this module. You can create user accounts, enable or disable them, set holidays managers in order to manage user's holidays, obtain various information, set modules and rights, and finally all user account creation requests are centralized here: just accept or refuse them.

The LDAP part allow you to record and manage LDAP servers for X-Itools user authentication.

The profiles part is used to create sets of modules. So, a profile contains several modules with the definition of associated rights. After this, just assign a profile to your users, which avoid the definition of the modules and rights accessible for each user. This is very important for big companies with several thousands of users.

In the departments part are defined the different departments of your company: administration department, HR department, technical department, managment department... then each user can be assigned to one or several departments.

The journal part show you the logs of the X-Itools server. As each system log, it allows the X-Itools administrator to know who is connecting at what time and in general, who do what, the errors which are happening and so on.

The Modules tab manage the various modules of the X-Itools server. You can set hours of use, lock or temporary invalidate a module. Parameters registered for the modules are applied to all the domains, which should change in the futur.

And finally, the Network tab, now considered obsolete, allows you to record each component of your network. Then it was possible to define that such user could connect to the X-Itools server only from computer A or computer B, in order to cancel the user login process which is otherwise requested systematically, and only if you are sure that such user always connect from the same computer. But experience made the evidence that this kind of process was not easy to run.

This module take care and manage the X-Itools server domains.
